Mindfulness
Mindfulness means that you keep a moment-by-moment awareness of your thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations, and surrounding environment. It has its roots in Buddhist meditation, but Jon Kabat-Zinn and his Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program, made it popular in the USA and the rest of the world.
Jon Kabat-Zinn’s definition of mindfulness
Mindfulness means paying attention in a particular way; on purpose, in the present moment, and nonjudgmentally.
